A rare Greek 24k yellow gold and cabochon emerald ring circa 100 BC that sold for $152,100, more than five times its original estimate. The astonishing antiquity was part of Anne Bigelow Stern’s New York Estate.
A custom designed platinum lady’s ring with a blue 10.27 ct Ceylon sapphire and 3.93 ct of diamonds reached $25,740. The ring was part of the estate of Dr. Arthur and Ruth Sokoloff.
An unusual piece composed of 13 solid gold Byzantine-era coins and formed as a necklace c 1920. This vintage necklace fetched $14,040 at auction.
