INVENTORY SPECIALIST
We are looking for the ideal candidate to fill our Inventory Specialist position.
If you enjoy an active, exciting, and cooperative work environment — this is the place for you! In this position you will deal directly with clients, so we are seeking someone who is customer service oriented, personable, well-spoken, and respectful.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to safely transporting, delivery, moving, lifting and storing of consigned items/antiques in a variety of weather conditions and often, tight spaces. Assisting with facility needs including building light maintenance and repairs, vehicle maintenance, storage needs, etc., arranging and staging items in preparation for auction. As directed, providing support throughout an auction, with moving and storing items and loading onto vehicles.
Qualifications: Valid Maine driver’s license with clean driving record; experience in operating and safely handling power and hand tools; Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English with the ability to use computer programs for email, internet navigation and inventory management. Must be able to work during auction weekends. Must also possess strength, stamina and ability to lift and move items up to 90 lbs.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for occasional overtime (including auction weekends) as well as travel out of state.
