GENERAL INFORMATION
Our Unreserved Fall Coin Auction will be held live at the Rockland Elks Club in Rockland, Maine. We are offering live bidding, bidding via phone/in-house absentee, and online via Thomaston Live and Live Auctioneers. Seating is limited to 50 guests, reservations are recommended. Doors open at 9:00 AM. 

PREVIEW: Thursday, October 22 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Elks Club by appointment only and must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Please call 207-354-8141 to schedule your preview appointment.

VENUE INFORMATION
The Elks Club is located at 210 Rankin St., Rockland, Maine. We will be practicing the state mandated regulations regarding COVID-19 so masks will be required. Seating is limited, please call to reserve your seat at least 48 hours before the auction.

BIDDING INFORMATION
This auction will be conducted live with bidding offered in person, by phone or in-house absentee, and online. Buyer's Premium for Live and Phone/In-House Absentee bidding is 17%. Buyer's Premium for Online bidding (including absentee bids left online) is 20%. Maine State Sales Tax will also be charged when applicable.

BID LIVE: In order to meet the challenges of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of our customers and staff, we will adhere to the state mandated COVID-19 regulations regarding physical distancing and face coverings at all times.

Seating is limited to 50 live bidders. We respectfully ask that one seat per bidder be reserved. If you are planning on bidding live at the auction, we recommend making reservations in advance by calling 207-354-8141. Masks are required. 

BID BY PHONE or IN-HOUSE ABSENTEE: You may bid by phone or leave an absentee bid that will be exercised by a Thomaston Place Auction Galleries’ representative. To bid by phone or to leave an absentee bid, you must fill out our Phone/Absentee Bidder registration form (link below) and return the completed form by mail, email or fax. Once we have received your registration, you will be called to verify your phone number and/or to provide a credit card number. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. We require current contact information and a valid credit card. If we do not a have a credit card number, your registration is not complete. All registration forms must be received no later than noon on the day preceding the auction. Bid forms received the day of the auction MAY NOT BE PROCESSED.

BID ONLINE: We are offering online bidding on our own in-house platform, Thomaston Live and through LiveAuctioneers.com.  Each platform will allow you to leave an absentee bid and/or to bid live online during the auction and has its own registration procedures. You will be notified when your registration has been approved. Please Note: Registering to bid through our online platform is separate from phone or absentee bidder registration. If you have registered as an absentee/phone bidder, you are not automatically registered to bid on Thomaston Live and vice versa. NOTE: Buyer's Premium for ANY online bid, whether live or absentee, is 20%.
